Japanese Chicken Thighs Boneless 2kg | Local | Whole Meat

Product Description
Maximum quantity available reached.

Chicken thighs are a popular cut of chicken known for their tenderness and flavor. Boneless chicken thighs are simply chicken thighs that have had the bones removed, making them easier to cook and eat. They are versatile and can be used in a wide variety of recipes, from grilling and frying to baking and simmering in sauces.

Here's a simple recipe for cooking boneless chicken thighs:

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken thighs
  • Olive oil or cooking oil of your choice
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, herbs, spices, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the chicken to brown better when cooking.

  2. Season: Season the chicken thighs with your choice of seasonings. Salt and pepper are a basic starting point, but you can get creative with herbs and spices like garlic powder, paprika, thyme, or rosemary. You can marinate them for added flavor, but this step is optional and depends on the recipe you're following.

  3. Heat the Pan: Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil. You want enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking.

  4. Cook the Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the hot pan, smooth side down (if they have a smooth side). Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the thighs.

  5. Rest: Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring the meat stays moist.

  6. Serve: Serve your boneless chicken thighs with your favorite side dishes, such as vegetables, rice, or a salad.

You can also use boneless chicken thighs in a variety of recipes, including stir-fries, pasta dishes, and casseroles. They are versatile and cook relatively quickly, making them a great choice for busy weeknight dinners.

Thawing

Thawing takes some time, so plan ahead. There are two main methods: thawing in the refrigerator or thawing in ice water.

In the refrigerator: This method is convenient and safe but takes some time. The golden rule is 24 hours for 5 pounds of meat, but this also depends on the temperature of your fridge. Just place your meat into your refrigerator and wait until it is thawed.

In ice water: This method is faster, but also more work. Take an adequately big container (bowl, small bucket) and fill it with water, then add ice cubes. The meat has to be placed in a waterproof bag to avoid contamination, before submerging it into the ice water. Thawing takes approximately 3 hours for 1 kg of meat when using this method.

Refreezing

Refreezing already thawed meat should be avoided, if possible. If you need to refreeze your meat, we recommend to cook it beforehand.
