Kangaroo Burger



Recipe for two huge kangaroo burgers

You need:
a) 500g kangaroo mince
b) 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
c) 1 egg
d) mayonnaise (2 tablespoons)
e) salt and pepper
f) 2 buns
g) topping (e.g. cheddar cheese, tomato slices, lettuce, ketchup, mustard…)

1)  Put the mince, onions, egg, and mayonnaise into a bowl and knead well
2)  Put some oil into the frying pan on medium heat and grill
3)  Turn the meat after it gained color on one side, then lower the heat and cover the frying pan - grill for 5 to 6 min
4)  optional: Put some cheese on your meat until it melts
5)  Put the meat and toppings between your toasted buns


The mayonnaise makes the mince tender and juicy. The patty is kind of low-carb since it’s made without breadcrumbs (if you’re on a diet you should eat it without buns though 😊).
